Seminar on Legal Issues

From August 28 to 30, 2024, the team of SE «National Institute for Development Infrastructure», together with the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, held a scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Legal Aspects of Infrastructure Recovery and Development. Organization of Legal Service Operations” in the city of Chernivtsi.

The event was attended by managers, lawyers, procurement specialists, and cost estimators from the Recovery Services in the regions, as well as public and private enterprises from all regions of Ukraine.

A wide range of interesting topics was covered:

– typical violations identified by supervisory authorities during inspections of the efficient use of funds for infrastructure recovery and development;
– practical cases of applying cost estimating standards and construction pricing methodologies;
– regulatory and legal aspects of determining objective indicators of road work quality;
– legislative updates regarding administrative procedures;
– procedures, rights, and obligations during searches and temporary access to property;
– current issues in public procurement of works and services;
– specifics of applying labor legislation norms;
– digital tools in infrastructure recovery and development in Ukraine;
– organizational and legal framework for the activities of construction engineer-consultants in Ukraine.
