Bridge Conference named after P.M. Koval
From December 4 to 6, 2024, the team of SE «National Institute for Development Infrastructure» successfully held the 4th International Scientific and Practical Conference named after P.M. Koval “Reconstruction and Development of Bridges: Challenges, Trends, Innovations”.
The conference became the largest bridge-focused event in recent years, bringing together more than 150 participants on-site and about 50 participants online.
For such a large-scale gathering, a rich and unique program was developed, which was truly impressive:
– 39 presentations, half of which were delivered by researchers holding a PhD or Doctor of Science / Doctor of Philosophy degrees;
– 4 major thematic sessions;
– presentations from the Czech Republic, Poland, Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom;
– representatives from 77 organizations involved in the maintenance, operation, design, and inspection of transport structures attended the event.
The draft resolution of the Conference, developed jointly with participants, is available at:

We thank all speakers for their meaningful and relevant presentations, and all participants for their support, interesting questions, and suggestions for improving bridge infrastructure.
