DSTU on Cement Concretes
On April 2, 2024, the team of SE «NIDI» held a public discussion of draft national standards on technical specifications, design guidelines, and construction procedures for road cement concretes.
The event gathered more than 200 specialists from different regions of Ukraine, mainly representatives of cement product manufacturers, road asset managers (including local and municipal roads), design organizations, production and contracting companies, as well as researchers and engaged members of the public.
During the presentation, current developments were introduced regarding:
– technical specifications for road cement concrete mixes and road cement concrete, as well as roller-compacted concrete mixes and roller-compacted concrete;
– guidelines for the construction of cement concrete pavements with dowelled slab joints and continuously reinforced concrete pavements, as well as road pavement structures using roller-compacted concrete mixes;
– design guidelines for rigid pavements.
