DBP 2025
2–4 December 2025, Olena Bondar, Advisor to the Director for International Affairs of SE “National Institute for Development Infrastructure”, member of the EU BIM Task Group and leading expert on BIM methodology implementation in Ukraine, as part of the delegation of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, took part in the International Conference on Digital Building Permits (DBP 2025) in Vienna (Republic of Austria).
The DBP 2025 event brought together over 200 participants from more than 30 countries, including representatives of government authorities, municipalities, research institutions, professional associations, and IT companies.
Key thematic areas of the conference included:
– digital models for construction permitting;
– use of BIM and GeoBIM for automated checks;
– integration of regulatory requirements into digital platforms;
– international standards and ensuring interoperability of information systems.
The outcomes and international experience gained during the conference will be used by SE «NIDI», together with relevant government bodies, to develop methodological recommendations and regulatory proposals aimed at implementing BIM methodology and digital procedures in construction in Ukraine.
