SEMINAR ON PRICING AND PROCUREMENT

On 9–11 November 2022, the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" held the scientific and practical seminar “Estimated Pricing and Procurement in the Road Sector. Features of Forming Contract Prices for Road Works”, which took place in a hybrid format (online and in person) in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The event brought together cost estimation specialists from all over Ukraine: more than 50 in-person participants and more than 150 participants on Zoom. This once again demonstrates the strong interest of industry specialists in pricing reform.

During the seminar, a number of topics were discussed:

  • New Rules and Methodology for determining the cost of construction, reconstruction, repair, and maintenance of public roads.
  • Features of applying cost estimation norms and construction pricing standards for transitional projects.
  • Updates in legislative and regulatory acts in the field of public procurement.
  • Features of applying the international measurement system CESMM and preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Practical aspects of working with software for determining the cost of road works and services.
  • Updates in legislative and regulatory support for urban planning activities.

Participants of the seminar positively received the innovations in pricing for the construction of public roads and expressed their readiness to work under the new Rules and Methodology for determining the cost of construction, reconstruction, repair, and maintenance of public roads.
