ENGINEER-CONSULTANT

On 8 July 2022, the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" conducted a one-week advanced training course aimed at further certification for the profession “Engineer-Consultant in the field of roads” via Zoom.

The profession of Engineer-Consultant requires a high qualification level of specialists; therefore, the lectures in the course covered a range of topics:

  • regulatory and legal framework of urban development activities and the road sector as a whole;
  • state building codes for the design of highways;
  • main requirements for the design and construction of public roads, as well as streets and roads in cities and other settlements;
  • key standards for road construction materials;
  • technical supervision during road works, both at preparatory stages and during execution, including asphalt and cement-concrete pavements;
  • technical supervision of transport structures;
  • traffic management;
  • pricing system in road construction at all stages of the investment process;
  • financial aspects of road project implementation;
  • legal status of the engineer-consultant in providing road consulting services;
  • basics of public procurement;
  • system of contractual relations in construction, internationally recognized forms of contracts.

Such a scope of knowledge provided by the team of SE “DerzhdorNDI” makes it possible to train highly qualified professionals for the market.
