PUBLIC DISCUSSION OF DBN

On 10 June 2022, the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" discussed existing problematic issues and developed solutions for the DBN on bridge design – DBN V.2.3-22:2009 “Bridges and culverts. Basic design requirements” via Zoom.

Despite the difficult times, the team of SE “DerzhdorNDI” believes in our rapid Victory and is actively preparing the regulatory framework for the large-scale and fast restoration of transport structures.

In a professional circle of more than 100 bridge specialists, existing problematic issues were discussed and solutions were developed for the DBN on bridge design – DBN V.2.3-22:2009 “Bridges and culverts. Basic design requirements”.

We will work on the implementation of the parametric design method and introduce requirements related to:

  • unified terminology;
  • consideration of current standards, regulatory documents, and Eurocodes;
  • reliability parameters, loads, and impacts;
  • criteria for determining dimensions, designation of safety lanes and service walkways;
  • options for pavement structures, waterproofing, and drainage;
  • the need to use BIM technologies.

Our team will make every effort to take into account the advanced experience of leading designers and specialists in the bridge sector of Ukraine and the world, as well as the development of modern materials and technologies, to prepare a modern DBN for bridge design.
