CEMENT-CONCRETE ROADS

On 12 July 2022, the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" held a presentation of the Album of rigid pavement structures via Zoom.

The Album of rigid pavement structures was presented within the event “Cement-concrete roads: technologies, structures and new opportunities”, developed by the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" on request of the Ukrcement Association.

The Album of rigid pavement structures includes:

  • a list of applicable regulatory documents;
  • the most common rigid pavement structures, taking into account the dependence on the road category, the road construction region, the level of soil variation, and technological options;
  • detailed characteristics of each structure regarding thicknesses and materials, as well as its visual representation;
  • detailed information on technologies for restoration/reinforcement of pavement structures using cement concrete.

The event was attended by more than 200 participants, including representatives of regional state administrations, united territorial communities, city and settlement councils, regional road services, design, scientific, contracting, private road organizations and the public, as well as suppliers of road construction materials.

We continue to actively work on new opportunities for the development of the road sector under wartime conditions.

We are confident that the experience and extensive knowledge of the Institute’s team will enable the implementation of modern technological solutions for large-scale reconstruction of road infrastructure.
