BAUMA 2022

From 24–30 October 2022, in Munich (Germany), the world’s largest international exhibition of road construction machinery, equipment, vehicles, and construction technologies BAUMA 2022 took place, in which the team of SE "DerzhdorNDI" took part.

During the visit to BAUMA 2022, the Director of SE "DerzhdorNDI", Artem Bezuglyi, did the following:
  1. Familiarization with new ideas, the latest road construction technologies, and the capabilities of modern machinery and equipment.
  2. On behalf of the leadership of Ukravtodor, informed participants of the Bavarian–Ukrainian Forum about the condition of roads, bridges, and other road structures in Ukraine after damage and destruction caused by the military actions of the Russian Federation, and outlined potential investment directions for German partners in the restoration and rebuilding of the country’s road infrastructure.
  3. Discussed with American partners the feasibility of applying effective strategies in Ukraine to increase the durability of the road network by constructing roads with cement concrete pavement and using special repair mixtures and “rejuvenating” solutions during maintenance.
  4. Considered with leading European suppliers the possibility of equipping the Institute with modern laboratory equipment using grant funds, including for the further application of the American SUPERPAVE asphalt mix design system and adaptation of relevant standards.

The team of SE “DerzhdorNDI”, during this difficult period for the country, remains up to date with the latest innovations and does everything possible to form a reliable regulatory basis for the fast and high-quality reconstruction of Ukraine’s road infrastructure.
