AUTOMOTIVE CONFERENCE

On 14 December 2022, the team of SE "ДерждорНДІ" took an active part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Prospects for the Development of Road Transport and Infrastructure: Challenges of Wartime”, which was held on Zoom.

At the opening of the event, the Director of SE "DerzhdorNDI", Artem Bezuglyi, spoke about the role of SE “DerzhdorNDI” in the restoration and reconstruction of road infrastructure.

In the conditions of war, our Institute team continues to actively work on:

  • inspecting damaged transport structures; in total, during the period of martial law, 38 transport structures were inspected in Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions;
  • updating state building codes and national standards, including their harmonization with European ones;
  • providing scientific and practical recommendations regarding further operation or the need for restoration of damaged road facilities;
  • studying alternative anti-icing materials in conditions of technical salt shortage;
  • reforming the pricing system not only in the road sector but also in the construction sector;
  • reviewing key design solutions for the reconstruction and restoration of road infrastructure within Section 5 of the Scientific and Technical Council;
  • improving qualification and professional certification of specialists within our events, held both online and offline.
