On 10–11 November 2021, within the framework of the 19th International Construction Forum, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern materials and technologies for the construction and repair of highways” was held.

Within the Forum, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern materials and technologies for the construction and repair of highways” commenced its work, where the team of SE “DerzhdorNDI” presented a range of topics:

  • legislative and regulatory innovations in the road sector;
  • updated pricing system in construction;
  • amendments to DBN for highway design and construction;
  • new DSTU standards for road signs and road markings;
  • new DSTU on classification of works for routine and capital road repairs (effective from 2022);
  • capabilities of the modern bridge management software system AESUM for managing Ukraine’s bridge infrastructure;
  • advantages of implementing the SUPERPAVE system for bitumen classification;
  • modern trends in the use of industrial waste in road construction;
  • new DSTU standards for environmental impact assessment in highway construction.
