96th ANNIVERSARY OF "DERZHDORNDI" SE

On April 15, 1926, our Institute was founded as a Research Way Station at the Ukrainian Department of Local Transport in Kharkiv.

In 1950 the post-war joint work was resumed as "UkrshliakhtransNDI" Enterprise, in 1970 our Institute was separated from motorist direction and became "DerzhshliakhNDI" Enterprise, and in 1991 the Institute obtained its contemporary name - “DerzhdorNDI” SE. Since 1999, the Institute has been named after Mykola Pavlovych Shulgin, the first Minister of Transport of Ukraine.

“DerzhdorNDI” SE today is a real driver of changes in the road industry. Our team is actively working in the following areas:

 

• development of construction norms and standards;

• scientific and technical support of construction facilities;

• inspection and certification of bridges;

• certification of materials and certification of production;

• traffic accidents monitoring and proposals to improve traffic safety;

• performing the economic researches and pricing rules forming;

• improving the environment;

• advanced training of specialists.

 

Currently we, like the whole country, are going through the most difficult period in our lives. The war ruined our plans and dramatically changed our lives.

But we are sure that our Victory is very soon, we will win back and rebuild our country! We are sincerely grateful to each member of our big team for continuing to work enthusiastically for improving the legal and regulatory framework to rebuild infrastructure in these challenging environments.

With such team, we will easily get through the difficult wartime and quickly make up for lost time!
