NIDI SE TODAY
State Enterprise "National Institute for Development Infrastructure" (SE "NIDI") is the main research institute of Ukraine on construction, repair and maintenance of highways and transport facilities and the main organization on pricing in road economy.
SE "NIDI" is included in the list of basic organizations of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine on scientific and technical activities in construction in the following areas: scientific and technical, research, normative-methodical and informational support for the design, construction and operation of transport facilities including roads, bridges and overpasses.
The Certification Body successfully operates on the basis of the Institute, as well as the Main Testing Center which is accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine.
SE "NIDI" has a certificate on the implemented quality management system for carrying out the research, design, testing and certification in the field of road construction which meets the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001: 2015.
The Fund of regulatory documents of Agency of Restoration operates on the basis of the Institute and a museum of the road sector is created.
The Institute is a member of the FEHRL-European Forum of National Highway Research Laboratories (the Resolution of the 18th General Assembly as of October 11-12, 2007, Oslo, Norway).
On the basis of the Institute, the Secretariat of the Technical Committee TC 307 "Highways and Transport Facilities" and the Subcommittee 5 "Pricing in the Construction of Highways" of TC 311 "Pricing and Cost Estimated Normalization in Construction" functions.
SE "NIDI" is a full member of the Interstate Guild of Engineers-Consultants or ICEG.
The field of scientific and technical activities of the SE "NIDI" covers the whole range of issues of functioning and development of the road economy of Ukraine, from the development of theoretical foundations, experimental, laboratory and field research to the implementation of the results of works in the practice of road and bridge construction, maintenance, inspection, repair and reconstruction with the development of regulatory and advisory support. Considerable attention is paid to ecology, traffic safety, pricing, economy, energy saving.
