Implementation of innovations in road construction

On 23 December 2020, the Web portal “Innovations in the road sector” was launched for the professional road community via Zoom.

From now on, a single online resource contains all information about new materials and technologies in road construction.

Every supplier of innovative products will be able to upload information about their developments to the portal completely free of charge and without restrictions.

This will be a professional social network that will allow:

  • recording the capabilities of modern materials and technologies; providing articles, monographs, research reports, literature review results, etc.;
  • sharing information about global experience, laboratory test results, issued certificates of conformity, test reports, etc.;
  • storing and analyzing data on pilot implementation results (observation data, performance indicators, technology requirements, and quality control requirements) of materials and technologies at sites with geographic reference;
  • indicating information about regulatory documents related to these materials and technologies.

This is a real achievement, because market participants will no longer need to go through long bureaucratic processes, prove things to different parties, or overcome the conservatism of road sector stakeholders.
