TRANSPORT MODELLING TRAINING
"Use of transport modelling for the recovery of Ukraine" specialized scientific and practical training on the basis of "DerzhdorNDI" SE together with colleagues from "Pro Mobility", was held today.
It is important that despite all the obstacles of the war period , the event was held personally for responsible specialists of the Road Services in the regions and gathered about 50 people from all over Ukraine.
Transport modelling is an important tool for making effective design decisions.
"DerzhdorNDI" SE team fully supports the need to use transport modelling during the designing of road construction objects. Only during the last year was performed the following :
- state construction regulations regarding the designing and construction of public roads, streets and roads in settlements have been updated;
- developed methodological recommendations for traffic flows modelling during the evaluation of the effectiveness of designing solutions regarding road infrastructure;
- new Rules and Methodology for determination of road works and services cost provide for the possibility of considering the costs of transport modelling performance as a part of the consolidated estimate.
We are working together to make Ukraine's road infrastructure the best in the world after our Victory!
