TRAINING ON BRIDGE INSPECTION

The team of the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI”, together with the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, conducted an online training session for bridge asset holders on methodological approaches to the inspection and assessment of bridge structures.

This event is highly relevant, as the results of the Commission on the inspection of bridge structures showed that for 35% of bridges in Ukraine, asset holders do not have information on their operational condition.

The key topics covered during the training included:

– basic concepts and elements of bridge structures;
– key provisions of construction norms and regulatory documents;
– practical experience and examples of bridge inspection and testing;
– specifics of bridge structure inspections;
– basic concepts and practical examples of determining the technical condition of bridges.
