Traffic modelling in the design of highways
On 24 June 2020, a round table “Traffic modelling in the design of highways” was held via Zoom.
The round table was organized by SE “DerzhdorNDI” jointly with LLC “A+S Ukraine”, and was attended by more than 100 road sector specialists.
During the discussion, participants addressed the key tasks of traffic modelling and learned about real practical cases in Ukraine and worldwide.
It is clearly understood that traffic modelling is a key factor in developing effective design solutions aimed at ensuring safety and convenience for all road users.
Therefore, together with our partners, we will develop a package of amendments to regulatory documents and building codes that will accelerate the implementation of traffic modelling methods in highway design.
