Modern materials and technologies for bridge rehabilitation and maintenance
On 16 July 2020, a scientific and practical web seminar “Modern materials and technologies for bridge rehabilitation and maintenance” was held via Zoom.
Taking the opportunity to repeat our own record in conducting an online marathon, today we worked continuously for several hours without breaks, with more than 200 participants taking part. A total of 20 presentations were delivered within the following sections:
- Regulatory and information support;
- Diagnostics of transport structures;
- Materials and technologies in transport construction;
- Waterproofing and rehabilitation of bridge structures.
Our specialists also actively participated in the seminar, presenting:
- key provisions of the National Bridge Rehabilitation Program for a 5-year period;
- current regulatory framework for the design, inspection, and operation of bridge structures;
- capabilities of the bridge management system AESUM;
- important aspects of bridge inspection and testing;
- research on concrete bridge structures reinforced with basalt-plastic reinforcement.
We thank all speakers for their meaningful presentations and the participants for their interesting questions.
