SEMINAR ON MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY

On March 27-28, the team of the State Enterprise "National Institute for Infrastructure Development," with the support of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development of Ukraine and the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in the Ternopil region, successfully held a scientific and practical seminar in Ternopil: "Maintenance and Safety of Highways: Modern Practices and Approaches."

The event brought together more than 150 participants from all regions of Ukraine.

The seminar focused on the following topics:

  • Key challenges and tasks in the operational maintenance of highways;

  • Modern materials and technologies for road and bridge maintenance;

  • Digitalization;

  • ⁠Road and bridge passporting and inspection;

  • Pricing and procurement of road maintenance services;

  • Regulatory and legal framework for road maintenance and traffic safety;

  • Practical cases of road safety audits and inspections;

  • Assessment of socio-economic losses from road accidents.
