WORKSHOP ON DESIGNING

We remind you that “Modern methods of designing of roads - the key to their quality and durability” scientific and practical workshop organized by Ukravtodor and “DerzhdorNDI” SE will be held on February 8 – 10.

The main topic that will be presented in detail to the participants of the workshop is the Amendment No.2 to DBN B.2.3-4: 2015 on the designing and construction of public roads developed by “DerzhdorNDI” SE team.

Among the main innovations in the document are the following:

 

• Prohibition of attributed left turns with a traffic intensity of more than 20 thousand vehicles/day;

• Stationary electric lighting on M-roads of the I category with intensity more than 30 thousand vehicles/day;

• Overground pedestrian crossings over the roads of I-II categories;

• Elimination of the pavement operation term dependence from the traffic intensity;

• Updating the requirements for establishing the minimum thickness of layers of non-rigid pavement;

• Requirements for planning and designing cycling infrastructure, as well as ensuring the accessibility of low mobility groups. and much more.
