SEMINAR ON PRICING
Today, in Kyiv, a scientific and practical seminar "PRICING IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES: INNOVATIONS AND PRACTICAL CASES".
The main topics of the event are:
- peculiarities of the pricing system in civil construction using the estimate norms of Ukraine;
- differences between the pricing system in civil construction and public roads;
- practical cases of using the international system for measuring construction works on the example of CESMM;
- proposals for improving the price monitoring procedure in the Restoration Services;
- the procedure for negotiating contract prices and concluding a contract.
A number of proposals for improving the estimate standards were voiced at the seminar, including
- to define a mechanism for determining the cost of construction at all stages of the investment process in the form of Design & Build contracts;
- to exclude from the aggregate indicator of the cost of work provided for by the NUU, funds to cover additional costs associated with inflationary processes;
- improve the approach to calculating funds to cover additional costs associated with inflationary processes and funds to cover risks, using successful practical cases of the Methodology for determining the cost of road works and services;
- to provide for the possibility of using price databases with the establishment of requirements for them and an improved mechanism for determining prices for material resources when preparing investment estimate documentation.

Together, we can make the pricing system for all construction projects adequate and transparent for donors of the reconstruction process.
