SEMINAR ON PRICING
From April 23 to 25, the team of the State Enterprise "National Institute for Infrastructure Development," with the support of the Restoration and Infrastructure Development Service in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, held a scientific and practical seminar titled “Cost Estimation and Procurement in Construction: Modern Practices and Approaches” in the city of Khmelnytskyi.
The event was attended by over 150 professionals in cost estimation and procurement from regional Restoration Services, local road asset holders, contractors, designers, and engineering companies from all regions of Ukraine.
Key topics of the seminar included:

Features of cost estimation in the construction and operation of various types of facilities based on Ukrainian cost norms;

Overview of updates to the Rules and Methodology for determining the cost of new construction, reconstruction, repairs, and maintenance of public roads;

Cost estimation in construction under “design-build” contract schemes;

Digitalization in construction and the implementation of BIM technologies;

Specifics of public procurement: agreeing on contract prices, procurement agreements and their amendments, analysis of public procurement dispute practices, etc.;

Monitoring of prices for material resources, including the use of artificial intelligence. Operation of the Price Database of the Restoration Agency;

Practical cases of using international measurement systems (e.g., CESMM);

Methodological approaches to determining the cost of design work, engineering services, and customer service maintenance costs.
