Seminar. Day 3
Today marked the conclusion of the scientific-practical seminar "Pricing and Procurement in Construction: Modern Practices and Approaches," organized by the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development of Ukraine and the State Enterprise "National Institute for Infrastructure Development."
Participants had the unique opportunity to attend an engaging lecture by Roman Komendant, Head of the Agency for Restoration, on the topics of digital transformation and digital tools in the reconstruction of Ukraine's infrastructure.
The most valuable outcome of the event was not only the knowledge gained by all participants but also the collaboratively developed proposals to address key issues in construction pricing and procurement. Some of these include:
- Introducing a clear procedure for the use of funds to cover risks for construction participants in Ukraine's pricing standards;
- Defining in legal regulations the list of documents required by the customer from participants when approving the contract price;
- Establishing the requirement for technical specifications as an integral part of the contract;
- Improving methodological approaches to monitoring prices for road construction materials.
We extend our gratitude to all the lecturers for their insightful and practical presentations, and to the seminar participants for their active engagement, relevant questions, and the incredible energy shared during the seminar.
