SEMINAR ON PRICING IN CONSTRUCTION

On 4–5 June, the scientific and practical seminar “Pricing in Infrastructure Construction: Innovations and Practical Case Studies” was held in Lviv. The event was organized by SE «National Institute for Development Infrastructure» with the support of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

The event brought together more than 200 professionals from all regions of Ukraine: over 100 participants attended the seminar in person in Lviv, while more than 100 joined online. Participants included representatives of contracting authorities, contractors, design and engineering companies, research institutions, and the expert community.

Over the two days, participants thoroughly reviewed the practical aspects of implementing Resolution No. 1512 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, including the specifics of determining the cost of construction, repairs, and maintenance of public roads under martial law.

Considerable attention was given to the operation of the database of prices for material resources, price monitoring by contracting authorities, new approaches to determining estimated wages, as well as problematic issues and practical challenges arising from the implementation of the new pricing approaches.

The seminar also focused on modern digital tools, the use of artificial intelligence in construction cost estimation, the implementation of Eurocodes, modern contract forms, and international experience in infrastructure project cost management.

We thank all participants, speakers, and partners of the event for their professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and active discussion of current industry issues. The seminar became an important platform for explaining new regulatory requirements, discussing challenges in their practical application, and finding effective solutions for participants in the construction process.
