BIM SEMINAR
The team of the SE “National Institute for Development Infrastructure” joined in organizing and conducting a seminar in Lviv dedicated to the implementation of building information modeling (BIM) technologies in infrastructure restoration and development projects.
BIM technologies are radically changing the approach to the design, construction, and operation of buildings. Their significance lies not only in the creation of 3D models, but also in the formation of a full-fledged digital environment for making more accurate, faster, and economically sound decisions.
During the seminar, Artem Bezuglyi, Director of the SE “National Institute for Development Infrastructure” presented the regulatory framework for the functioning of BIM technologies in construction and proposed ways to accelerate their implementation in the context of Ukrainian realities, while the director's advisor on international affairs, Olena Bondar, moderated the two-day seminar and presented specific practical tools for applying BIM technologies in reconstruction projects.
It is important that the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine is taking concrete steps towards a transparent, effective, and technological infrastructure project management system.
