REGIONAL TRAINING ON COST ESTIMATION
On August 11, in Odesa, the team of the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI” conducted another regional training session on the application of the Rules and Methodology for Determining the Cost of Road Works and Services, as well as the specifics of the international CESMM measurement system.
There was a highly engaging discussion between clients and contractors regarding the practical application of the Rules and the Methodology. Cost estimation specialists share the view on the need to scale the Methodology into the Ukrainian construction cost estimating standards (KNU). It is necessary to take into account the innovative and progressive approaches of the Methodology, in particular to provide within the KNU a transparent and clear mechanism for forming a reserve of funds to cover additional costs related to inflationary processes, as well as risk coverage funds for all participants in road works and services.
