REGIONAL TRAINING SESSIONS ON COST ESTIMATION

Our team at the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI” conducted another series of regional training sessions in Dnipro, Pavlohrad, and Kyiv on the application of the Rules and Methodology for Determining the Cost of Road Works and Services, as well as the specifics of the international CESMM measurement system.

Our goal is not only to improve the qualifications of cost estimation specialists from regional restoration and development services, local road agencies, contracting companies, and design organizations in applying the new Rules and Methodology for Determining the Cost of Road Works and Services, but also to identify challenges and shortcomings and develop a package of proposals for improving the pricing system under martial law.

We are sincerely grateful to all participants for their active and productive work. It is particularly important that, during these regional training sessions, we were able to gather feedback from a wide range of practicing professionals. Therefore, in the near future, we will propose amendments to the Methodology for Determining the Cost of Road Works and Services to the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. These amendments will aim to achieve a balance of interests among different participants in the investment process while ensuring the efficient use of funds under martial law.
