PROBLEMATIC ASPECTS OF PRICING IN CONSTRUCTION

Dear colleagues!

We invite you to take part in “Problematic aspects of pricing in construction” round table in Zoom Video Communications format.

From October 16, 2020, the Ministry of Regional Development has acquired the authority to regulate the pricing system in construction and therefore changes are being prepared currently to the rules for determination of the cost of construction and the rules for determination of the cost of designing and engineering works.

For solving the problematic aspects of pricing and taking into account advanced ideas in this direction, we are planning to discuss the following issues with key stakeholders:

  • Does the current pricing system in the construction need radical changes or point changes are enough?
  • Is it expedient to apply the resource method at all stages of the investment process?
  • What is CESMM3? Is it expedient to implement this system?
  • Is the cost of designing and engineering works determined reliably? Is the cost of such works really underestimated?

And many other questions.
