PLATFORM OF ROAD INNOVATIONS . RELEASE XXVII

We invite you to the XXVII Release of “Platform of Road Innovations” where we will consider Amendment No. 2 to DBN V.2.3-5:2018 regarding designing and construction of streets and roads in settlements, developed by "DerzhdorNDI" SE.

This document provides for a number of innovations among which are the following:

 

-new terms and definitions of concepts such as overhaul of streets, reconstruction of streets, pedestrian zone of the sidewalk, side pass, central dividing lines, etc. were established;

- new classification of streets according to their purpose were determined (main roads, main streets, streets and roads of local importance were distinguished; indicators of their main elements and parameters were optimized);

- the requirements regarding the estimated loadings on the pavement structure had been updated, considering the features of the pass and fire trucks operation;

- types of possible use of paving materials according to established types of pavements were determined;

- requirements for safety, planning and designing of bicycle infrastructure elements, ensuring the accessibility of low mobile persons were prepared.
