A pedestrian - be attentive on the road!
Specialists of Traffic Safety Department of DerzhdorNDI SE monitored traffic accidents in 2018 on the roads of state importance.
Basing to the results of monitoring, the problems and faults in maintenance of roads and traffic arrangement to ensure the safety of the drivers and other road users can be identified.
According to the branch Database of Accident Recording and Analysis for 2018, 748 road accidents with participation of pedestrians happened on the state roads.

The problem of traffic accident with the participation of pedestrians is especially urgent in the dark time of day and in the period of twilight when the visibility of pedestrians on the road decreases dramatically. They often enter the traffic lane in conditions of insufficient visibility and they do not always realize that they are visible at the last moment only. Due to poor visibility, drivers often do not see the person who crosses the road or react too late.
