PARTNERSHIP WITH IFNTUOG
The State Enterprise "National Institute for the Development of Infrastructure" (NIDI) is launching an active collaboration with the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG).
On March 6-7, 2025, a team from NIR visited IFNTUOG, during which they:
- Presented the institute's capabilities in scientific and technical support, as well as infrastructure inspection;
- Shared their innovative practices and approaches applied in infrastructure restoration;
- Got acquainted with IFNTUOG’s research base, laboratory equipment, and human resources, and visited the Innovation Development Center and the Geological Museum.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between NIDI and IFNTUOG. A partnership roadmap was developed, outlining key areas of collaboration:
-
Joint development of grant applications under the European Commission's research programs and other donor organizations;
-
Scientific research on the potential use of industrial waste, particularly from oil extraction, in road construction;
-
Establishment of a platform for training highly qualified specialists: organizing joint scientific, technical, and practical events, open lectures for students, improving educational programs, and strengthening the faculty of the NIR training center;
-
Joint scientific publication activities (preparation of a collective monograph), exchange of best practices in advanced engineering research, and modern infrastructure management technologies.
This partnership will maximize the potential of both institutions to support the reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine's infrastructure.
