UNCLASSIFIED BRIDGES INSPECTION

“DerzhdorNDI” SE specialists visited the H-20 Sloviansk-Donetsk-Mariupol highway, where they inspected an unclassified bridge of 502 meters long at km 166+562.

Bridge Management Department specialists performed the following:

  • determined the level of carbonization and strength of concrete;
  • carried out leveling of bridge span structures;
  • recorded the geometric parameters of the structure and the existing defects.

Minor destruction processes began during operation of the bridge. Also, defects of the parapet barrier of the bridge roadway and the road median blocks were recorded.

After processing of obtained data, the scientific and technical report will be prepared and the actual operational state of the construction will be defined.

Also, the conclusions will be provided on the recovery of damaged elements and their further operation.

Timely performed inspections of bridges are the basis for trouble-free operation of man-made structures.
