FIRE SAFETY TRAINING
Today, the training of fire safety basics had been held for “DerzhdorNDI" State Enterprise employees. The lecture was given by Khrystyna Pryshchepa - Senior Lieutenant of Civil Protection Service, leading specialist of Main Department of State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv.
The main actions that have to be executed first of all in emergencies were highlighted; detailed instructions how to use fire extinguishers of different types were given; the bases of the first medical aid provision, etc. had been demonstrated.
Measures like this training lecture are extremely important for avoiding panic behavior during fire or natural disaster and their main target is the safety ensuring at the workplace under any conditions.
Separately it was emphasized on the fire safety measures in the laboratory rooms, as there is a high danger probability in comparison with the office rooms.
At the beginning of the year an automatic fire alarm system had been installed in all rooms of the Institute.
Hope that the level of equipment of our company will not allow applying this knowledge in practice.
