TRAINING WORKSHOP

We invite everyone to "Building bridges. Use of concrete fragments from destroyed objects" educational workshop. Focus on reducing the financial strain on our reconstruction budget.

Costs for the construction of stone arch bridges can be reduced if concrete fragments are used. Such kind of structure can be built faster and cheaper (15-20% of the cost of a corresponding concrete bridge), which allows you to build 5-7 stone bridges instead of one concrete bridge.

Considering the possible loadings, this technology may be the most applicable on local roads.

Dr. Adrienn Tomor, a senior lecturer at Brunel University in London and a project consultant, will talk about all the advantages and disadvantages of the technology.

Language of the workshop : English with Ukrainian translation.
