SCIENTIFIC MARATHON
The team of the SE "National Institute for Infrastructure Development," despite the challenging wartime conditions, continues to actively strengthen the scientific potential of our country.
To mark Science Day, and with the active support of the Council of Young Scientists of SE NIDI, the Fourth All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists titled “YOUTH – DRIVERS OF NATIONAL RECOVERY” was successfully held.
Opening the Conference were:
-
Roman Komendant, Deputy Head of the Recovery Agency for Digital Development, Digital Transformations, and Digitalization;
-
Artem Bezuglyi, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, and Director of SE “National Institute for Infrastructure Development”;
-
Olena Slavinska, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Vice-Rector for Scientific Work at the National Transport University;
-
Oleksandr Kryvobok, Head of the Council of Young Scientists at SE “NIDI”.
Importantly, this Conference offers young scientists a unique opportunity to:

present their work to a broad professional audience;
-
engage in Q&A sessions and scientific discussions with key stakeholders in the sector;
-
receive suggestions for future research directions.
This year, the Conference brought together nearly 150 participants, with 23 young researchers representing prominent scientific institutions, including:

SE “National Institute for Infrastructure Development”;
-
National Transport University;
-
Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture;
-
Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University;
-
National University of Water and Environmental Engineering;
-
Kyiv Institute of Railway Transport;
-
Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education of the State University "Kyiv Aviation Institute".
At the conclusion of the Conference, the Council of Young Scientists of SE “NIDI” held an open vote for the best presentation. The winner was Maksym Borysenko, Head of the Structural Engineering Department at SE “NIDI”, with his presentation “Impact of Explosive Loads on Buildings and Structures.”
We are proud that our young scientists continue to find the strength and motivation to lay a strong foundation for Ukraine’s recovery and infrastructure development.
