SCIENTIFIC MARATHON

The team of the State Enterprise "National Institute of Infrastructure Development" held a number of events this week, especially on the occasion of the Day of Science:
- held a public presentation of the main requirements of DSTU 9281: 2024 "Bituminous mineral mixtures. National requirements for asphalt mixtures in accordance with DSTU EN 13108-1", which was developed by the team of the SE "NIDI";
- with the active support of the Council of Young Scientists of NIDI SE, the Third All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists "YOUTH - DRIVERS OF THE COUNTRY RECOVERY" was held;
- held a webinar "SAFE ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE: Challenges and Prospects" within the framework of the All-Ukrainian Road Safety Week;
- held an expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Institute.

Today, at the expanded meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Technical Council, the results of the scientific activity of the enterprise in 2023 were summarized, the results of the annual competition "Scientist of 2023" and certification of the SE "NIDI" researchers were approved, and the XXIX issue of the collection of scientific papers "Roads and Bridges" was approved for publication.

The XXIX issue of the collection of scientific papers "Roads and Bridges" has set a kind of record in our publishing work: 365 pages (the largest issue in the history of the collection) and 31 professional articles. We invite all our scientists to publish in the next issue!

And, according to a good tradition, on the eve of Science Day, the best scientists of the Institute for 2023 were determined:

3rd place - Ivan Kopynets, Head of the Materials Department of the Center for Research on Infrastructure Development and Maintenance, PhD in Engineering;

2nd place - Oleksii Sokolov, Head of the Materials Testing Laboratory of the Materials Department of the Center for Research on Infrastructure Development and Maintenance;

1st place - Tetiana Tereshchenko, Leading Researcher at the Technology Department of the Center for Research on Infrastructure Development and Maintenance, PhD in Chemistry.

We are proud that the knowledge and experience of our scientists is used to restore and develop Ukraine's infrastructure.
