BRIDGE CONFERENCE . DAY 2
Today we continue our work at "Current issues of bridge economy and ways of its improvement" - P.M. Koval 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference, organized by Ukravtodor together with "DerzhdorNDI" SE.
A production tour on the transport facilities of Lviv region, which were recovered during the war, as well as a plenary session with speeches by both Ukrainian and foreign specialists, were successfully performed as a part of the event program.
Today we are focused on the following issues:
- improvement of approaches and creation of new directions in the designing of bridge structures and prefabricated monolithic bridge span structures;
- recommendations from foreign partners regarding directions of sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine, possibilities of reconstruction of bridges from local materials and importance of asset management;
- Great Britain's experience with Eurocodes for bridges;
- possibilities of laser and seismo-acoustic technology for evaluation of bridges condition.
