MASTER CLASS

On January 25, 2023, the team of the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI” conducted a master class on the design of beam bridges in BIM using the new capabilities of Allplan Bridge 2023, as part of the Road Innovation Platform release, held via Zoom.

During active hostilities, the greatest damage to the national economy within the road sector is caused by damage or destruction of bridges. Their restoration often requires high-precision instrumental surveys and a specialized approach to selecting design solutions.

The capabilities of modern software systems were presented by specialists from the Allbau Software Competence Center in Ukraine, who previously participated in the 26th edition of the Road Innovation Platform. The video recording is available here: https://youtu.be/NTNEOaID2Qg

The master class covered the following topics:

  • Creation of templates for designing beam bridges and examples of their application;
  • Modification of main elements (abutments, beams, and slabs) using a beam bridge example;
  • Use of parametric reinforcement via Python Parts;
  • Introduction to terrain modeling and road design modules;
  • Data exchange opportunities between specialists.
