ROUND TABLE OF FORENSIC CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL EXPERTS

On October 18, a roundtable of forensic construction and technical experts of Ukraine had been held in Odesa with the participation of Serhii. Neizvestnyi - the forensic expert and the Head of the Conformance Evaluation Department of “DerzhdorNDI” SE. Organizers of the event are All-Ukrainian public organization "Union of Experts of Ukraine" and Odessa Research Institute of Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

In the frameworks of the roundtable a report of Henkel Bautechnik (Ukraine) experts regarding the use of construction products in Ukraine, the need for its certification and the consequences of the use of falsified construction materials had been heard.

During this event the forensic experts discussed the problematic issues that arise in the framework of construction and technical studies related determining the conformity of technology of repair and construction works execution and applied construction materials with the design decisions, requirements of regulatory and technical documentation.

As a result of the meeting, the experts adopted generalized decisions regarding the limits of certain defects spreading, their localization, determining the impact of individual discrepancies on the object of construction as a whole.

Taking into account the long-term experience of “DerzhdorNDI” SE, the specialists connected with solving of the issues of road industry of Ukraine functioning, the presence of Main Test Center accredited in the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine which is engaged in testing of construction materials in accordance with current national standard, a subdivision for execution of forensic construction, road and technical expertise was established at the Institute.
