ROUND TABLE REGARDING TRAFFIC SAFETY
Today, Artem Bezuglyi, Director of “DerzhdorNDI” SE took part in the round table "Traffic safety on roads, streets of settlements and ways for improving of it", organized by the National Association of Road Workers of Ukraine and the Institute of Traffic Safety.
The Director presented the latest regulations developed by “DerzhdorNDI” SE in the area of traffic safety. During the last 3 years we have developed 14 DSTUs on the following items:
- road mirrors and rumble strips;
- rules of arrangement of safety barriers in the areas of road works;
- requirements for the installation of road and traffic control barriers, as well as traffic calming devices;
- rules for development of traffic arrangement projects;
- requirements for traffic calming systems;
- rules of linear traffic accidents analysis;
- cycling infrastructure planning.
Actually, the Institute's specialists are developing 3 new national standards regarding requirements for road marking, road signs and road marking studs.
