NTU CONFERENCE
Today, when many regions of Ukraine are recovering from yesterday's massive missile attack of Russian terrorists, specialists of National Transport University are holding the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Implementation of Innovative Materials and Technologies in the Design, Construction and Operation of Transport Infrastructure Facilities" with a real indomitable spirit.
The lack of power supply and communication did not prevent Artem Bezuglyi, Director of "DerzhdorNDI" SE from making a presentation on the role of the Institute in the restoration and reconstruction of road infrastructure.
In the conditions of war, the team of our Institute:
- is working on updating the state building codes and national standards (including harmonization with European standards);
- reforms the pricing system;
- inspects damaged transport facilities and provides scientific and practical recommendations for their further rehabilitation;
- considers design solutions for the restoration and rehabilitation of road infrastructure in Section 5 of the STC (Scientific Technical Council);
- in conditions of technical salt deficit, investigates various alternative anti-icing materials;
- provides advanced training and professional certification of specialists.
