CONFERENCE OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

On May 19, the team of the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI” organized and successfully held the Second All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Researchers in the Road Sector, “YOUTH – DRIVERS OF THE COUNTRY’S RECOVERY”.

At the conference, 15 interesting and relevant presentations were delivered by young researchers from the State Enterprise “DerzhdorNDI”, NTU, KhNADU, Odesa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, SE “DorCentr”, and LLC “Vitkar”.

Based on the joint voting of the expert jury and all participants, the three best presentations were selected:

1st place – Oleksandr Kryvobok (SE “DerzhdorNDI”), who presented new approaches to the design and construction of rigid pavement structures;

2nd place – Maxym Borysenko (SE “DerzhdorNDI”), who spoke about the impact of blast loading on bridges and overpasses;

3rd place – Iryna Hunko (KhNADU), who reported on the influence of digital terrain model accuracy on the quality of highway design.

We are proud that, despite the difficult wartime conditions, young road researchers continue to find the strength and motivation to build a solid foundation for the recovery and development of Ukraine’s infrastructure.
