CONFERENCE
Today, Artem Bezuglyi, Director of “DerzhdorNDI” SE, presented the latest regulatory innovations on the development of road infrastructure in the cities at “Transport, infrastructure and parking in the modern city” session as the part “City Trans & Parking” international exhibition.
“DerzhdorNDI” SE is a leader in updating the regulatory framework, updating more than 300 regulations related to the road industry in recent years.
Last innovations in national standards are the following:
DSTU 4100, comes into force since 01.11.2021. The standard introduces new principles for the layout of road signs of individual design (for example, a new principle of writing the names of settlements: the first letter is capitalized, and the others are lowercase); provides new signs and plates to road signs for the development of cycling infrastructure; introduces a new algorithm for placing signs on boards and background boards.
DSTU 2587, already in force since 01.08.2021. The standard complements road markings for taxi and electric car charging areas, approaching roundabouts and pedestrian crossings (especially near schools), traffic jams, landing within a tram stop, and more.
DSTU 4036, already in force since 01.08.2021. The standard provides requirements for marking road studs. Today, the arrangement of active (which have an internal light source) and passive (which work by retroreflecting light), which can work synchronously with traffic light control, can be installed both on the marking and on the curb.
Currently, active work is underway to amendments to DBN B.2.3-5: 2018. “Designing and construction of streets and roads in settlements”.
We invite everyone to an active public discussion of draft documents : https://dorndi.org.ua/ua/obgovorennya
There is still a lot of work to be done to implement the world's best experience in improving traffic safety to create a safe transport infrastructure. We are moving together towards the implementation of the “Vision ZERO” concept.
