PUBLIC DISCUSSION

Today Artem Bezugly, Director of “DerzhdorNDI” SE took part in the public discussion of II edition of the project Amendment No. 2 DBN A.2.2-3: 2014 “Composition and content of designing documentation for construction”, which was developed by specialists of “NDIBV” SE.

This document is key for designers, and therefore on behalf of our Institute declared proposals for its improvement.

Developers need to pay special attention to the following:

• clearer definition of “linear objects of engineering and transport infrastructure” concept;

• possibility of compiling of the scope of work statement provided for in the designing documentation, according to international measurement systems, for example - CESMM4.

CESMM (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement) is an internationally recognized procedure for preparing of construction works volume statement, to clarify the price and to determine the scope of work. CESMM was prepared by the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE). Moreover, in the draft Procedure for the application of estimated norms and standards for pricing in determining the cost of construction of the Ministry of Regional Development, such possibility is provided already.
