ECOLOGY

We continue to inform road industry specialists with the latest developments of “DerzhdorNDI” SE team. Today we are talking about minimizing the negative impact on the environment when performing work on road construction facilities.

For this our specialists have developed a complex of measures to improve the ecological state of the environment. This complex of measures includes the following:

• strengthening of roadsides, traffic separation lanes and slopes of the subgrade, in particular materials with use of binders, gravel, crushed stone, sowing of grass, turf, etc .;

• planting and caring for trees and bushes;

• ensuring the sanitary condition of the drainage strip;

• arrangement of garbage containers,

• construction of noise protection structures,

• arrangement of surface runoff treatment plants and culverts;

• implementation of avalanche protective measures, fortified facilities, regulatory structures, etc.

• construction of wildlife crossings to restrict animal access to the roadway;

• use of industrial waste during the construction and repairing of roads.

The implementation of the Complex of Measures creates the needed background for the implementation of the Strategy of State Environmental Policy of Ukraine for the period till 2030 and minimizes the negative impact of the road on the environment.
