Road construction site of the future
On 27 October 2020, a scientific and practical seminar “Road construction site of the future” was held via Zoom.
During the seminar, innovative approaches in the work of clients, designers, and contractors were presented, including real practical cases in information modeling of construction projects.
A serious limiting factor for the implementation of such approaches is the underestimated cost of design works and the low professional level of some participants in the design process.
During the discussion, it was concluded that it is necessary to:
- develop a clear list of non-price criteria for the procurement of design works and ensure their application in tender documentation;
- introduce the necessary amendments to regulatory documents for the full implementation of modern information technologies.
