TRAFFIC SAFETY

“DerzhdorNDI” SE specialists have inspected the black spot sections on the following roads:

N-09 Mukachevo - Rakhiv - Bohorodchany - Ivano-Frankivsk - Rohatyn - Bibrka - Lviv;

H-10 Stryi - Ivano-Frankivsk - Chernivtsi - Mamalyha (towards Kyshyniv);

H-18 Ivano-Frankivsk - Buchach - Ternopil.

According to the results of the preliminary inspection of mentioned sections, a number of measures were recommended to prevent traffic accidents, namely:

  • arrangement of contrast lighting,
  • installation of safety  barriers,
  • replacement of road signs with the new ones with a yellow edge,
  • road marking using durable marking materials in red and white colors, etc.

During the commission inspection with the participation of our specialists, representatives of the agent who maintains the road on his balance and the patrol police, two black spot sections were deregistered, where according to “DerzhdorNDI” SE proposals, the improvement of traffic conditions decreased the accident rate.

“DerzhdorNDI” SE Traffic Safety Department performs the following works:

  • identification of black spots on the roads,
  • updating and support of the branch traffic accident database,
  • development of regulations on traffic safety,
  • traffic safety audit,
  • traffic accident monitoring.
