Current projects
From September 2020, specialists of Ecology and Subgrade Department of the DerzhdorNDI SE participate in the international project SaveGREEN, which aims to address environmental stability and functionality of transnational ecological corridors in the Danube basin and arrange of wildlife crossing for animals. The project involves representatives of European countries: Slovakia, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Austria, Ukraine.
UKRAINE: Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa regions (bordering Romania) and Transcarpathia (bordering Slovakia, Hungary and Romania).

The project is funded by the Danube Transnational Program, which is a funding instrument for European Territorial Cooperation (ETC), better known as Interreg.
The ETC is one of the objectives of the European Union's cohesion policy and provides a basis for joint action and policy exchange between national, regional and local subjects from different Member States.
The total budget of the program is 274,578,077 euros, including EU support (231,924,597 euros) and national support (42,653,480 euros). Selected projects are funded up to 85% of their cost. EU support comes from three different funds:
• European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) (€ 202,095,405.00)
• The Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance II (IPA II) (€ 19,829,192.00)
• European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI) (€ 10,000,000.00)
