DIGITALIZATION SEMINAR

From July 3 to 4, the team of SE "National Institute for Infrastructure Development," with the support of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine and the Restoration and Infrastructure Development Service in the Odesa Region, held a scientific and practical seminar on the topic "Digitalization in Infrastructure Recovery and Development: Trends and Innovations" in Odesa.

The event was attended by over 100 specialists from the Restoration Agency, regional Restoration Services, local road asset holders, contractors, design, expert, and engineering companies from all regions of Ukraine.

The main topics of the seminar included:

  • Key aspects of cybersecurity and cyber hygiene;

  • Specifics of working with the Digital Ecosystem for Accountable Recovery Management (DREAM);

  • Current aspects of the operation of the Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector (USESCS);

  • Relevant technical and software solutions for fast and high-quality management of large data sets (Big Data), working with open data;

  • Important digital tools for sustainable infrastructure recovery (bridge management software AESUM, Innovation Portal, etc.);

  • Features of the functioning of the Material Resources Price Database of the Restoration Agency;

  • The platform for building information-analytical, reporting, and monitoring systems “E-Road”;

  • Practical cases of using modern structure surveying technologies for the subsequent creation of a digital model.
