LEGAL ASPECTS OF INFRASTRUCTURE RESTORATION AND DEVELOPMENT

The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, in collaboration with the State Enterprise "National Institute for Infrastructure Development," invites heads of enterprises, institutions, and organizations, as well as all interested professionals, to participate in the scientific and practical seminar on the topic “Legal Aspects of Infrastructure Restoration and Development. Organization of the Legal Service” (hereinafter referred to as the Seminar), which will take place on August 28–30, 2024, in Chernivtsi (for security reasons, the exact venue will be disclosed only to registered participants).

**Main topics of the event:**
- Organization of contractual and claims-related work at enterprises, institutions, and organizations;
- Analysis of court cases initiated by the prosecutor's office regarding contracts concluded following procurement procedures;
- Analysis of the results of inspections by regulatory bodies for 2023-2024;
- Actions for employees during searches and temporary access to items;
- Administrative procedure. Appealing decisions based on the administrative procedure (practical cases);
- Control and responsibility in the field of public procurement of services and works;
- Procedural issues (practical cases) of procurement appeals in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and monitoring of procurements by the State Audit Service of Ukraine;
- Essential terms of construction contracts;
- Current issues of labor law application, labor disputes, peculiarities of dismissal at the employer's initiative, employee reinstatement, and peculiarities of remote work;
- Practical application of costing norms and pricing methodologies in the construction and maintenance of various facilities (including highways);
- Regulatory support in urban planning activities;
- Regulatory requirements for the quality indicators of construction, current repair, and maintenance of highways;
- Peculiarities of preparing and implementing long-term contracts for the maintenance of public highways;
- Organizational and legal support for the activities of a consultant engineer in Ukraine.

**Tentative schedule of the Seminar:**
- August 28, 10:00-18:00 – Registration and plenary sessions;
- August 29, 10:00-18:00 – Plenary sessions and individual consultations;
- August 30, 10:00-13:00 – Plenary session and event summary.
